All patients are invited to stop for a Q & A session with Sean Brown, a member of our cultivation team. Feel free stop by and chat with him about the work he does to help produce the best quality medical marijuana for Capital City Care.
Brown, who is also a certified chef, had been with Capital City Care for over a year, and has been an internal part of the team perfecting some of your favorite strains. His background in agriculture helped hone his talent and build his interest in cultivating medical marijuana.
“I got started growing my own vegetables when I was trying to supplement food expenses. I also wanted to control what I ate, avoid pesticides and grow everything organically,” he said. “I got good at it and began to transfer those skills to medical marijuana.
He hopes to bring some of these skills to creating edibles in the future, but currently is a big fan of the hash production process.
He recommends home growers make an effort not to do too much for a successful harvest.
“One of the things people do wrong is trying to grow too many plants and too much water. Another thing they may forget when do have a great grow, is they will forget to journal what they did. You have to keep track of what do you did right.”
Capital City Care has been having a lot of participation in this monthly event, and we look forward to the opportunity to share some tips with our patients. We also recently held our first “Meet the Author” Q & A session with author and cannabis expert Michael Backes.
