David Guard is an experienced non-profit manager with a Masters degree in Public Policy from American University. He’s worked in the medical marijuana field since 1998 and performed lead research for a national survey of best practices in the medical marijuana industry before co-founding Capital City Care. David serves as general manager and takes pride in creating a warm environment for our patients.
Scott Morgan is a nationally known marijuana expert with more than a decade of experience working on medical marijuana issues in the non-profit sector. He’s a life-long D.C. resident and co-founded Capital City Care with the goal of introducing world-class medical marijuana services here in the Nation’s Capital. Scott runs our sales program and enjoys educating patients about our products.
Maishah Asante-English works as the Community Outreach and Marketing Coordinator for Capital City Care. She is a native New Yorker, with a background in journalism. After 20 years in the media, she began working in marijuana policy and now enjoys being a part of the growing medical marijuana industry. She is also a sickle cell survivor and has found medical cannabis to be the safest alternative pain therapy for her condition.
Phil was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Rockville, Maryland. After having cannabis introduced to him at a young age he has studied the strains, components, structures, and the system of cannabis ever since. He has extensive knowledge about cannabis as well as creating concentrates with an extraction process. Phil joined Capital City Care in 2015 to add as much help to the community and to see people heal themselves in a natural way. He is passionate about his job and strives to fulfill his patient’s needs.
Michael is a native Washingtonian with over 5 years of Cannabis cultivation experience. His role is focused on overall health of all plants in the facility. “My favorite part of my job is learning new ways to create more efficient production as well as bring new concepts to the company. Time to time the most challenging part of my job is diagnosing the many different deficiencies that arise in medical marijuana plants. I’m very grateful to be part of this company, and producing medical marijuana for Capital City Care.”
Antwan was born in Washington DC and raised in southern Maryland. With a background in sociology and social work, he has a passion for health, fitness and natural homeopathic remedies. He enjoys learning how various medical marijuana strains can be used as natural remedies. “My favorite part of my job at Capital City Care is getting to know the individual needs of our diverse client base.”
Sean has been in the hospitality industry for 16 years, bartending for the last 10. I He has been a cannabis proponent and has had an interest in everything marijuana-related for years. “I couldn’t be more excited to break into this industry. The medical applications of marijuana fascinate me and I’m happy to be in a position to help others, sharing the knowledge I’ve acquired throughout the years.”
