Three years ago, Capital City Care made history with the first medical marijuana sale in the district of Columbia. July 29 marks our official third anniversary as the premiere medical marijuana dispensary in the district and we are proud to have had the experience of providing quality medical marijuana to our growing list of patients.
“In the years since being the first legal Cannabis patient – I have seen great improvement in my health have conquered insomnia and improved my GI functioning,” said Michael, who was CCC’s first patient. “I also continue to see more acceptance and less stigma and try to ‘come out of the green closet’ and share the good experiences I have had at Capital City Care.
In the last three years, we have introduced several new strains, experienced an enormous increase in inventory, and welcomed hundreds of new patients. We are also excited about our variety of tinctures, hash and high-CBD products.
We have increased our selection of accessories, some in part due to patient interest including several new vaporizer pens and bowls.
Our patients have also been a major part of our effort to give back to our community. We thank you for your generous donations during our canned food for S.O.M.E. (So Others Might Eat).
“Over last three years we’ve built such a wonderfully diverse and dynamic patient base. It’s been an absolute delight serving our patients and witnessing their health transformations. We are looking forward to constantly diversifying our product offerings and making improvements across the board so that we continue to live up to our “Best of DC” status,” said David Guard, operations manager.
“It’s been an amazing experience seeing the Capital City family grow over the past 3 years. We’ve learned so much and we’re working hard to make this next year our best yet,” said Scott Morgan, manager.
Thank you to all of our patients for being a part of our family here at Capital City Care and celebrating three years as the District’s premiere dispensary.
