Patients who’ve been visiting us for a while know we always do our best to make the week of April 20th extra special. This year is no exception and we can’t wait to see who wins the $420 top prize in this year’s sweepstakes. Planning for a big week like this, however, is no easy task. Bringing exciting new strains onto the menu in time for Spring means our cultivation team had to start planning many months ago. Fortunately, that is exactly what they did.
This week, we’ll be rolling out a series of superb new strains exclusively at Capital City Care. Each has been selected for excellence and cultivated skillfully throughout the Winter months in anticipation of this week’s debut. We hope you’re as excited as we are and we’ll certainly work to keep your favorites in rotation throughout the Spring and Summer. Here are a few to keep an eye out for:
Animal Cookies (Hybrid): Fire OG and Girl Scout Cookies are combined in this frosty and flavorful hybrid flower. Patients find Animal Cookies helpful for elevating mood, while relieving pain, stress, depression and appetite loss.
Blueberry Bubblegum (Indica): Classic genetics Blueberry and Bubble Gum form this sweet and fruity indica. Its creamy berry flavor is followed by a calm and focused effect that helps with pain and stress.
Cinderella 99 (Sativa): This popular sativa combines Jack Herer with the rare Cinderella 88 to produce an energizing flower with a tropical flavor. Patients prefer Cinderella 99 for daytime use to treat depression, stress, pain, and fatigue.
Durban Poison (Sativa): This historic African sativa strain is famously energizing and flavorful. Patients find Durban Poison helpful for elevating mood, while relieving stress and fatigue.
Ghost Train Haze #1 (Sativa): This top shelf sativa combines genetics from Ghost OG and Neville’s Wreck to produce an uplifting and flavorful flower. Patients find Ghost Train Haze helpful for treating stress, depression, pain, and fatigue.
Shiva Skunk (Indica): Vintage Skunk #1 and Northern Lights #5 genetics combine to create this old-school indica. Patients prefer Shiva skunk for evening use to treat pain, insomnia, depression, and stress.
Keep in mind, of course, that our newest genetics will be available on a first-come/first-serve basis beginning early in the week. As always, our online menu will be up and running to keep you informed and we’ve got plenty of other favorites on tap as well. We look forward to seeing you and hope you’re enjoying this beautiful season in D.C. as much as we are.
